Obituary For Donna Jean Higgins

Donna J. Higgins, 70, of Richmond, Ohio, died Saturday, August 5, 2017 at Life Line Hospital, Wintersville. She was born in Steubenville on January 30, 1947 the daughter of the late Wilbur and Alice Walter Lucas. Preceded also in death by a sister and brother. She was employed as a secretary at WL Electric Co. and attended Finley United Methodist Church and was a former member of Wintersville American Legion Post 557 Auxiliary. She is survived by a daughter, Christen Higgins of Wintersville, a son, David (Jill) Higgins of Biloxi, Miss., three grandchildren Kayla Higgins, Anthony Bay and Mekai Higgins, two great granddaughters Gracie Higgins and Jordyn Devore, two brothers Edgar (Fran) Lucas of Richmond and Wilbur (Patty) Lucas of NC and a sister, Sandra Snyder of Columbus. Memorial services will be held at a later date at Finley United Methodist Church. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be directed to the family or the American Lung Association.
