Donna J. Petrella 76 of Mingo Junction, OH died Tuesday, December 14, 2004 at Trinity West. She was born in Wheeling, WV on July 5, 1928 a daughter of the late Carl Atkinson and Gail McMasters. Donna was the former owner and operator of Avalon Bar in Mingo Junction and she was a member of the Jefferson County Humane Society. She was preceded in death by her son Michael Petrella and sister Sandy DiCarlo. She is survived by her husband Anthony “Pinky” Petrella, son Chester “J.R.” (B.J. Swinsinski) Zelkowski and daughter Lisa (Kevin) Goodrich, both of Mingo Junction, grandchildren John and Douglas Zelkowski and Cassie Thornton, 2 great grandchildren. Friends may call at Hoff-Shorac Funeral Home, 235 Clifton Ave. on Friday from 2-4 and 6-8pm, where funeral services will be held on Saturday 10am with Rev. Michael Bongart officiating.
