Donald T. “Don” Gilkey, 77, of Celina, Ohio (formerly of Bloomingdale) died Tuesday, October 20, 2015 at Community Hospice at Van Wert, Ohio. Don was born on November 7, 1937 the son of the late James Franklin Gilkey and Marjorie K. Wiggins Gilkey. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by two brothers James (Sandra) and Richard Gilkey and brother-in-law William Mascolino. Don retired from the former Leicy’s Drug Store as manager and later worked for Pennsylvania Fashions and was a member of Bloomingdale Presbyterian Church; member of Steubenville Masonic Lodge #45 and the Ancient Accepted Scottish Rite, Valley of Steubenville. He graduated from Steubenville High School’s class of 1955. He is survived by his wife Regina D. Randolph Gilkey at home and daughter Stephanie (Joel) Will of Delphos, Ohio; grandchildren Elayna and Parker Will; two sisters, Rosemary Mascolino and Nancy (Harold) Cook both of Wintersville; numerous nephews and nieces and great-nephews and great-nieces. Friends may call at the Dunlope-Shorac Funeral Home,215 Fernwood Road, Wintersville, on Thursday from 2 – 4 and 6 – 8 p.m., where funeral services will be held Friday at 10 a.m., with Rev. Bill Westling officiating. Burial will follow at Union Cemetery. Masonic services Thursday at 7:30 p.m. In Lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to the Masonic Learning Center, 227 N. 4th Street, Steubenville, OH 43952.
