Donald L. Paden, 78, of Wintersville, Ohio died Tuesday, April 24, 2007 at Trinity West ER. He was born June 15, 1928 in Youngstown, Ohio a son of the late Lester W. & Frances Lubben Paden. Donald was protestant by faith. He was a member of the Steubenville Shrine Club, A.A.S.R. Valley of Steubenville, Sulgrave Masonic Lodge # 696, Mingo Sportsman Club and American Legion Argonne Post #33. Donald was an US Army veteran and retired from International Mill Service in 1990 as superintendent. Preceding Donald in death were his son Lester W. Paden on May 9, 1992 and brothers Lester Paden and Dale Paden. Surviving are his wife Laverne Fairbanks Paden whom he married on April 25, 1953; son Donald E. Paden of Steubenville, OH; two daughters Cindy (Rob) Alloggia of Bloomingdale, OH and Susan Mizell of Steubenville, OH; three grandchildren Kelly, Jason and Terri; and sister Lois Jackson of Youngstown, OH. Friends may call at Dunlope-Shorac Funeral Home, 215 Fernwood Road, Wintersville Friday 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. where services will be held Saturday 9:30 a.m. with Rev. Clint Quillen officiating.
