Donald E. Needham, 85, of Steubenville, Ohio passed away peacefully on Sunday October 29, 2023. Donald was born April 15,1938 in Steubenville, Ohio a son of the late Francis V. & Margaret Boyle Needham. He proudly served his country in the U.S. Navy before dedicating himself to serving his community for 35 years as an equipment operator for the City of Steubenville. Most of all, Donald was known as a hard-working man who was always willing to help anyone.
Donald was preceded in death by his loving wife Judith Ann Aldridge Needham; two sisters Wanda Straka & an infant; brother William Needham and daughter-in-law Deb Needham.
He is survived by two sons Shawn (Lorie) Needham & Steve Needham; two sisters Katherine Adams & Janet (Dave) Angelo; five grandchildren Megan (Matt) Snyder, Chad (Mina) Needham, Tyler Needham, Bryan Needham & Alysa Wentz and six great-grandchildren.
Friends may call at Dunlope-Shorac Funeral Home, 215 Fernwood Road, Wintersville, Ohio on Friday from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. where services will be held Saturday at 10:00 a.m. with Rev. Dr. Clint Quillen officiating. Burial at Fort Steuben Burial Estates.
In lieu of flowers, please make memorial donations to the Urban Mission, 311 North 6th Street. Steubenville, OH 43952.

Kitty - So sorry to learn of Don's passing. I just talked with Don at our SHS 65th class reunion last May. I will always have fond memories of playing football with Don at Harding Jr. High for Walt Owens. Don was a good man. Warmest regards to you. Fred.
