BARCUS, Donald E., 69, formerly of Steubenville, died April 9, 2009, in Shawnee Hospital, Oklahoma.He was born February 20, 1940, at his home in Rush Run, Ohio, the son of Thelma Mae Barcus.Retired from Dolly Madison, Don was enjoying his life in Oklahoma and spent much of his time with his church friend Alice. Traveling, bowling, dancing and an occasional Casino were his most enjoyed hobbies.In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his mother; a son, Donald Barcus Jr.; brother, David Allen Barcus and brother, Michael Tarr.Surviving are his daughter Debbie (Arlin) Stout of Meeker, Okla.; his sister, Colleen (James) Holskey of Mingo Junction, Ohio; brother, Daniel (Barb) Tarr of Ziegler, Ill., and grandchildren Derrick and Erica Toth, also of Oklahoma. Graveside service will be held on Friday, April 24, 2009, 1p.m. at New Alexandria Cemetery with Rev. Jimm Woods officiating.Offer condolences at www.shorac.com
