I am truly saddened by Dons passing. Don was more than just a friend; he was an amazing person. He was always so kind and considerate to everyone that we always welcomed seeing him at every opportunity. The measure of a life well lived is how he had touched so many lives and the sorrow he leaves behind. If the outpouring of sympathy on his loss is any indication, and it most certainly is, you can proudly and confidently say that his indeed was a life well lived. His passing will not only leave a void in so many lives, but in the hearts of everyone who knew him. Dons memory will always remain deep within our heart. R.I.P.

Dear Denise, Pam, David and families, I am saddened to learn of your dad's passing. He was always a great friend to the teenagers in the neighborhood. He and June had an open door policy that was 24/7. He treated us like adults and had our confidences. I learned valuable life lessons from his advice. H was "old school" but that is a compliment.Even when facing many hardships he maintained a positive attitude. May he rest in peace enjoy the eternal reunion of friends and family in Heaven. Peace to you all. Rich

Pam and David, I was so sad to hear the news of Don. What a fantastic neighbor/friend and father. I have very very fond memories of ur dad. He was such a fun guy to be around. We always had to be on our tippie toes when he was around because we never knew what he was gonna hit us with. Water balloons, the garden hose,etc.. etc. He was the best Steubenville police officer they had. Tops in my book! May he rest in peace now! I love and miss u neighbors. God Bless!

I'm very sad to hear about the passing of my brother Don. He was a very special person in my life. He gave me away at my first wedding which made me so happy. I remember when he worked for the police dept.and he was always looking out for all of us. I'm sure he is in heaven with mom smoking up a storm. We will miss him very much. God bless you Don. So sorry to hear of your loss. Although we most likely have not meet. I felt the need to share. I have fond memories of Starliper the clown. Not only at the circus but even at Super X where my grandmother worked for nearly 20 years as he would stop by. Not sure of the history of the family clown, but I am certain Don Dee left very good memories with people such as myself that carry on for a life time! Thanks Don Dee for your service as a dedicated police officer but also for the dedication of putting a smile on many faces young and old.

David, Pam, Debbie, Diane, Where do I start! So many wonderful memories of your Dad and Uncle Don and Park Street. There will never be another like him...so full of love and laughter. I know Heaven is in a party mode today with his arrival as he has everyone laughing! He is at peace now and reunited with all who have gone before him. He will live on forever in your hearts as you relive memories of days gone by. Thank you for letting me and my family share him and may his memory be eternal. God bless all of you at this very difficult time.
