Obituary For Donald D. Harris

Donald D. Harris, 83, of Wintersville, OH passed away on Sunday, December 23, 2018 at Valley Hospice. Don had been a resident of Sienna Skilled Nursing for the past three years. Don was born November 5, 1935 in Herrick, OH to the late John and Caroline Pollen Harris. Don retired from Cravat Coal as a maintenance supervisor. He also worked for Bedway Coal and Lowes in Steubenville. Don proudly served his country in the United States Army. In addition to his parents Don was preceded in death by his sister Mary Bazar; brothers Bill, Lawrence and Raymond Harris. He is survived by his loving wife of 37 years Judy Campbell Harris of Sienna Skilled Nursing; two sons Donnie and Brad Harris of Dillonvale, OH; sister – in- law Ellie Harris; step-sons Terry Timmerman and his wife Rose of Rayland, OH, Rick Timmerman and his wife Bev of Wexford, PA and Rob Timmerman of Sugar Grove, OH and his beloved dog “Hapee”. We will always remember Don by his kindness, his willingness to help others and his great sense of humor. Per Don’s wishes there will be no visitation or services.

    I worked with Don,at Lowes for years, He was a great man, sweet,funny,and a very hard worker.So sorry for your lose. He will be a man I will never forget.   FLY HIGH DON
