I just heard about the loss of your Grandmother. You have my deepest sympathy. She was a great lady and loved her grandchildren very much. I know she was happy that Lori came to stay in her house that she could spend her last years there. Again I am sorry about your loss and that I could not have told you in person. I now live in Fl. I so wish I could have been with you all today but I had to return to North Carolina. You know that Delores was like a grandmother to myself and my brother growing up. I will miss her iced tea and birthday cards. I send love and prayers.

Grandma VanMeter as she was known to all Renee and Lori's friends will be dearly missed. She touched the lives of each one of us with her strong will, sense of humor and loving nature that will live on in Renee and Lori as they share these priceless qualities with their families and friends. Even though we will miss her, it brings a smile to my face to know she is at peace and truly joyous with her family she has so dearly missed up in the heaven's where they can all watch over us.

I was sad to hear about Aunt Dolores's death. I always looked forward to seeing and visiting with her when I was in town. She always made me feel welcome and there was always laughter and good desserts. Renee and Lori you were a great joy in her life and wonderful to your grandmother. She was very proud of you both and your children brought her alot of happiness. I feel she is at peace now. I will miss her. You have my deepest sympathy.
