Dewey K. Walters, 77, went to the Lord on July 14, 2016 in Sarasota, FL. Dewey was the son of the late Lloyd H. “Dewey” and Eva G. “Honey” Callender Walters.
Dewey loved people and the Big Red football team. He was always in sales, advertising, promotions and management. He earned the top Ford Explorer Vans award and was a member of the “300/500 Legends and Leaders”.
Dewey is survived by his wife Ann R. Bishop Walters of Sarasota, FL.; daughter Dr. Robin K. Walters of Findlay, OH, grandchildren Carlynn and Abigale; and son Dewey R. (Christina) Walters of Lewis Center, OH, grandchildren Alexandra, Isabelle and Andrew.
Dewey is also survived by his stepdaughter Sherri L. Paget of Columbus, OH, two grandchildren Scott (Amber) Dulebohn of Waldorf.MD and three great-grandchildren; Jesse (Megan) Dulebohn of Cardington, OH, and three great-grandchildren; stepson Robert L. (Amy) Orwick of Elida, OH, granddaughter Emily; two sisters Norma Baldwin, niece Anita Kelson; nephews Gene Cozart and Randy Cozart; and Marsha (Robert) Blackburn of Wintersville, OH, nephew Michael. He is survived by great-cousins, nieces and nephews.
Dewey is preceded in death by his sister Marylyn McDonald; brother Robert Walters; and cousins Ronald and William Callender.
Services will be held at Dunlope-Shorac Funeral Home, 215 Fernwood Road, Wintersville, OH, on Saturday, Aug. 6, 2016 at 11:30 a.m. with Rev. Karen Woodruff officiating. Visitation one hour prior.
Burial at Union Cemetery, Steubenville.
