I used to live across the street at 316 Garden Dr. I knew Derek as a small kid. I was really shocked to hear about him passing from my mother. I knew we were about the same age. Mr Johnston and family, I am sorry for the loss. Regards Vince D'Angelo

Wow! I just learned of this and am still in awe. I have known Butch since 1971 in our high school years. Amazingly we seemed to cross paths. Butch, You were one of a kind and probably the ONLY one that I stayed in contact with since high school You will be missed tremendously my friend. I know the pain is now gone and life was one bumpy ride. One day we will see each other again, I have no doubt. The strange thing is...the day you passed? My big screen tv turned on and off twice, coincedental? Hmmm...I think not. We were that close like brother and sister for the most part to feel each other that way. Sleep now my dear friend for.... the heavens above needed a brighter star to shine in our skies.

Ed & Marsha, How do you express your love and sympathy at a time like this? Words cannot explain the heartache and pain I feel for you at this time. It's times like this that you need to lean more on your family and friends then ever. Just know that this friend is here for you no matter what the need. We love and appreciate you both, Chuck and Ginger Andrews
