Dennis Petrilla, 65, of Marysville, CA formerly of Wintersville died Sunday, May 6, 2015 in Sacramento, CA of natural causes. He was born April 1, 1950 in Steubenville, OH. Dennis was a 1968 graduate of Catholic Central High School. After graduation he joined the Air Force where he served his country for 21 years. He served two tours in Vietnam as a tail gunner on a B-52 bomber. Dennis retired as a tech sergeant and worked as an electronic PMEL technician at McClellan AFB. He was currently working as a maintenance tech in Marysville, CA. He was preceded in death by his father John T. Petrilla. Surviving are his wife, whom he married on September 5, 1987, Catherine (Boynton) Petrilla; daughter Amy Bartlett of San Diego, CA; two brothers Kevin (Sharon) Petrilla of Wintersville, OH and Kirt Petrilla of Murrieta, CA; mother Kay Pappas of Orlando, FL and many nieces and nephews. Dennis will be laid to rest in the Sacramento Valley National Cemetery in Sacramento, CA.
