  I remember when Nick and I where roommates at the Citadel and I was being told to take a bite of each food on my plate and take a sip of water. I would come back to the room  and Nick had made me a peanut butter sandwich  and he would say he didn't know who the upper class man were who had left the sandwich in the room. I still keep good memories in my mind about Nick and apologize for the loss of your husband as well.

  Coach Pete will forever be one of those coaches that had a meaningful impact on my life. I am so grateful for the time and effort he spent in pushing me to be better, both physically and mentally with conditioning and the discipline in which he coached. Nobody, at any level, ever made me work as hard as Coach Pete. Today I know he did this all to make us into good men, husbands, fathers, and members in our community.   Dennis was a man with a lot of integrity. I haven't spoken to him in decades yet I still considered him a friend because he had that kind of presence. I will never forget how he had to humble himself to be an assistant coach to a 21 year old college kid in the Wintersville Little League. He gave me respect when many others would not have. My condolences go out the entire Peterson family.
