Della E. Compston 89 of Wintersville died Wednesday, November 3, 2004 at Valley Hospice Palliative Care Unit. She was born in Smithfield, OH on November 24, 2004 a daughter of the late Ezbia and Mary Harris Wells. She was a member of First Christian Church, Steubenville. Della was preceded in death by her husband Bennie V. Compston on October 4, 2003, son Kenneth Compston, daughter Nelda Tridico, brother Richard Wells, sisters Edna George, Gladys Dunn, Mabel Brown, Daisy Marshall and Lilia Zimmerman. She is survived by daughters Marilyn (John) Crawford of Steubenville and Betty (John) Stoll of Wintersville, 12 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren and three great great grandchildren. Friends may call at Dunlope-Shorac Funeral Home, 215 Fernwood Rd., Wintersville, OH on Friday from 2-4 and 7-9p.m., where funeral services will be held on Saturday, 1p.m. with Rev.
