Obituary For Deborah Kaye Valuska

Deborah Kaye Valuska, 73, of Steubenville, Ohio, passed away peacefully on June 5, 2026. She was born in Steubenville, Ohio, on July 22, 1952, the daughter of the late Chris & Julia Meatris Cosentino. She was a devoted wife to her loving husband, Allan.

After graduating from Ohio University, Deborah built a career at Cedar Siani Hospital in Los Angeles, California, where she was devoted to people’s well-being, including stars such as Frank Sinatra, Steve McQueen, and Kenny Loggins, to name a few. Her deepest passions were reading and cooking, but most of all her generous spirit. Deborah was Catholic by Faith.

Deborah is survived by her loving husband, Allan, and her son, Allen James. She was preceded in death by her brother Richard “Horse” Cosentino, a school teacher at Wintersville High School. She will be deeply missed for her leadership, love, and compassion for animals and environmental issues.

In Deborah’s memory, memorial donations can be made to the American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals or the Disabled American Veterans. God bless you all.

Per Deborah’s wishes, there will be no services.
