Dawn L. Fleming 79 of Columbus, OH formerly of Bloomingdale, died Wednesday, December 15, 2004 at The Inn at Chestnut Hill in Columbus, OH after a long illness. She was born in Poland, OH on March 14, 1925 the daughter of the late Walter and Dove Tanner Lawler. Preceded in death by a sister, Gloria Schwartz. Dawn was employed as a church visitor with the former First United Presbyterian Church, Steubenville where she held church membership. She is a member of First Westminster Presbyterian Church and its Helen Martin Circle. She was instrumental in starting the Meals on Wheels locally. She is survived by her husband Lawrence A. Fleming. Four daughters, Patricia D. (Bill) Anderson of Fontana, California, Deborah Fleming and her husband Clarke Owens of Loudonville, OH., Rebecca Fleming of Boise, Idaho and Barbie (David) Gizzo of Columbus, OH. Two grandchildren, Victoria Lynn Anderson and Christopher Michael Anderson. Two great grandchildren, Jordyn and Maddalyn and a sister, Jean Harvey of Wintersville. Friends may call at the Dunlope-Shorac Funeral Home, 215 Fernwood Road, Wintersville on Saturday from 3-6 p.m., where funeral services will be held on Sunday at 1 p.m. Rev. Robert Shearer to officiate. Burial at Fort Steuben. Should friends so desire, expressions of sympathy may take the form of a donation to the American Red Cross.
