David W. Sleap, 81, of Weirton, WV died Friday, January 7, 2011 at Acuity Hospital. He was born January 30, 1929 in London, England a son of Henry & Ivy Sleap.  He spent most of his life in Australia where he worked as an oilfield mechanic for Chevron. In addition to his parents, David was preceded in death by his son Kevin in 1991 and sister  Mary Sleap in 2009.  David is survived by his wife Nikki; two stepdaughters LaKedria & Deonna; stepson Nathan; two sons Garry (Leslie) and Steven (Lorene) of Australia; four grandchildren in Australia, Megan & Erika Sleap and Jamie & Nicole Sleap; grandson Xzavier Lawrence in the US; and siblings Victor, Christine & Shirley all of England.Friends may call at Shorac Funeral Home, 611 North Fourth Street, Steubenville on Tuesday from 10 a.m. until the time of services at 11 a.m. in the funeral home chapel.
