David L. Smith, 64, of Wintersville, Ohio passed away on Sunday, February 12, 2023 at UPMC. He was born in Montpelier, Ohio on December 31, 1958 a son of the late Lloyd & Edna Griffis Smith. He was the manager of Advanced Auto Parts, Weirton, WV.
Preceding David in death were his parents and sister Ruthann Anderson.
David is survived by his wife Denise A. Calabrese Smith; son Josh (Megan) Smith; daughter Danielle (Nathan) Osz; grandchildren Gavin Rheinhardt, Zander & Teagan Smith and Aiden & Victor Osz; brother Mark (Lee Ann) Smith and brother-in-law Rick Anderson.
Friends may call at Dunlope-Shorac Funeral Home on Wednesday from 3 p.m. until the time of services at 6 p.m. with Rev. Mark Prichard officiating. Private burial Thursday at Fort Steuben.

DENISE, Josh,Danielle, What a wonderful man of God Dave Smith was .He was dedicated to the Awana Children's group along with his wife Denise for years .He was a choir leader for years. HE WAS ONE OF THE BEST gospel singers I have ever heard .He also sang with his daughter Danielle, they were so good together .He was always kind to my family! So sorry to hear of the passing of David. I was fortunate to be a customer of his, because of him. I really enjoyed seeing David when I walked into the store. We would greet each other with smiles and laughter with our small talk during our visit. David was a fantastic human being who treated everyone with respect and kindness. He will be sadly missed.
