My dear Shirley: You did all you could do to help him peacefully into his next life. Although you may feel, from time to time, that there was more you could have done. It is natural to second guess yourself. Rest assured that your devotion was what he needed. He seems to have had a good life, with good friends and a loving family. He will be remembered by you and all the people he touched. What more can one ask from a life of work and family. I will be thinking of you and Bill and hoping you will find peace and soon remember the good years with less pain. love, alene
