David J. Calvarese, 70, of Mingo Junction, Ohio died Thursday, December 31, 2009 at Trinity West. He was born in Follansbee, WV on October 18, 1939 a son of the late John and Amelia “Emily” Panetta Calvarese. David was a former employee of Gen-Pak plastic plant in Follansbee. Surviving are his wife Joyce A. Clites Calvarese; son David H. Calvarese of Mingo Junction, OH; five sisters Mary Ann Riggilo of Winter Haven FL, Evelyn (Richard) McKenna of Columbus, GA, Jeannette Schwarze of Nanaimo B.C., Canada, Estelle (Edward) Treglia of Mingo Junction, OH and Rita (Mark) Marcussen of Fullerton, CA and many nieces and nephews. Friends may call at Shorac Funeral Home, 611 North Fourth Street, Steubenville (Formerly McClave Funeral Home) on Tuesday 2 – 4 & 6 – 8 p.m. A private service will be held at the convenience of the family with Pastor Ray Copper officiating. Burial at New Alexandria Cemetery.
