David H. Calvarese, 37, of Mingo Junction, Ohio died Saturday, July 30, 2011 at Trinity West ER. He was born in Steubenville, Ohio on April 1, 1974 David was a purchasing agent for Industrial Supply. Preceding David in death was his father David J. Calvarese on December 31, 2009 Surviving are his mother Joyce A. Clites Calvarese of Mingo Junction, OH; six aunts Judy Richter of Tampa, FL, Mary Ann Riggilo of Winter Haven FL, Evelyn (Richard) McKenna of Columbus, GA, Jeannette Schwarze of Nanaimo B.C., Canada, Estelle (Edward) Treglia of Mingo Junction, OH and Rita (Mark) Marcussen of Fullerton, CA and cousin Ricky Richter. Friends may call at Shorac Funeral Home, 611 North Fourth Street, Steubenville (Formerly McClave Funeral Home) on Wednesday 2 – 4 & 6 – 8 p.m. A private service will be held at the convenience of the family with Pastor Ray Copper officiating. Burial at New Alexandria Cemetery.

Everyone, let's pray for Joyce. Just so long as there IS a heaven, one thing is certain, Dave is there. He's not just there, he's being showered with praise and honor for being such a great guy to all of us. Dave never had a bad thing to say about anybody, not ever....not even a tiny bit. Dave was two grades ahead of me and we really weren't all that close, but man it sure felt like it, right? He always made us feel like we were his best friend, even if we hadn't seen him since graduation. Everyone, let's all at least try to do two things: Pray for Joyce and try to live the rest of our lives being more like Dave was. Adam
