I am so sorry to learn of Darlene's passing.  My sincere condolences to her family and friends.  Decades ago, when we were in High School, Darlene and her brother Tom were among my best friends.  In looking back, those were truly special times, times to be cherished.  Darlene was a special person.  Although she will be missed by all who knew her, she will live on in their memories. Please let me know if Darlene had a favorite charity or civic organization.  If so, I would like to make a contribution in her memory.

I met you in 1998 & had no idea you would be like another mother to me. You were that to so many people. The love you have shown my children throughout the years will never be forgotten. I have pictures from the the last Christmas together with your arms wrapped around my grandson. You have always been that kind, BEAUTIFUL soul. The calm voice in the storm. Rest easy beautiful lady as those of us still here love & miss you immensely.
