What can be said about the aunt who was our second mom growing up? Thank you... for treating us like your own, always having an open door, family dinners, cabbage rolls, potatoe salad & lasagna, taking us to church, juggling four+ kids like it was nothing, road trips in the station wagon, the Cinnettes and tap dancing, the cabin, a bridal shower, a bridal veil, and cocking your eyebrow at me to make a point (so that I could do the same to my own kids). Your light shines forever through us all.

Darlene was an amazing woman and an inspiration to all of her friends and co-workers. She was the epitome of courage and strength, a role-model in times both good and bad. She has touched the lives of those who have known her and left them changed for the better. She has left the world a better place than she found it, and I am thankful to have known her, even if it was only for a little while.

Tammy I was saddened to hear about the loss of your mother. Having lost my own mother not that long ago I understand how hard it is & want you to know I am thinking about you in your time of grief.
