Daniel Yaich, 80, of Wintersville, Ohio passed away Thursday, October 23, 2025 at Ruby Memorial Hospital, Morgantown, WV. He was born in Steubenville on May 27, 1945 a son of the late George and Carolyn Mandich Yaich. He was a 1964 graduate of Wintersville High School; member of Holy Resurrection Serbian Church and served in the US Army during the Vietnam War. Dan was a retired Millwright in the 80 Inch Mill at Wheeling-Pittsburgh Steel Corp.
Preceding Dan in death were his parents and his brother George.
Dan is survived by his wife Carol Saho Yaich, son Dan (Jaime) Yaich, brother Michael (Debbie) Yaich and sister Marguerite “Marge” (Richard) Blaine.
Friends may call at Holy Resurrection Serbian Church, 528 N. Fourth Street, Steubenville, on Monday from 12:30 until the time of services at 2 p.m. with Very Rev. Rajko Kosic officiating. Burial at Serbian Cemetery.
Memorials may be directed to the church in lieu of flowers.
