Daniel Wukelic 85 of Wintersville, Ohio died Monday, December 31, 2001 at Weirton Geriatric Center. He was born in Steubenville on April 28, 1916 a son of the late George and Yeka Babich Wukelic. He was retired from Steubenville Transfer Company and former owner of Wukelic Bros. Coal Co. Dan was preceded in death by his wife Anne Vein Wukelic; two brothers Milan and Duchin Wukelic; and two sisters Marie Diekmann and Dorothy Wukelic. Surviving are his son Milan “Sonny” (Mary Anne) Wukelic of Steubenville; his daughter Marti Wukelic of Hana, Hawaii; sister Mildred Kindsvatter of Steubenville; five grandchildren and six great grandchildren. Friends may call at Dunlope-Shorac Funeral Home, 215 Fernwood Road, Wintersville, Ohio on Friday from 9 a.m. until time of services at 10 a.m. in the funeral home chapel.
