Daniel J. Ciotti, Sr., 84, of Wintersville, Ohio passed away peacefully with his family by his side on October 29, 2024 at Valley Hospice North Care Center. Dan was born on June 20, 1940 in Steubenville, Ohio the son of the late John Albert & Velma Jane Horkey Ciotti. He proudly served his country in the US Army before working many years as a Truck Driver for the Howard Bowers Company.
Dan was a wild teenager and a gold dredger known for telling jokes and stories. He was a loyal friend who enjoyed doo-wop music and finding new restaurants. Dan was a member of the VFW 6450 in Chester, WV and the American Legion.
Dan was preceded in death by his wife Georgianna Ciotti, son Daniel J. Ciotti, Jr. and daughter Dawn Ciotti. He is survived by two daughters Dee Ann (Ronald) Ciotti-Hastwell & Melanie Ciotti; sister Marlene (Lenny) Moore; girlfriend Raida Hassen and five grandchildren.
Friends may call at Fort Steuben Burial Estates, 801 Canton Road, Wintersville, Ohio on Monday, November 4, 2024 from 1 p.m. until the time of services at 1:30 p.m. with Pastor Craig Greathouse officiating. Entombment at Fort Steuben Burial Estates.

Dee, Zoey, Raita and families, Was a pleasure having Dan as a dear friend. Such a wonderful, kind and compassionate man. I loved hearing all his stories. Very wise man always positive. So many good laughs. I thank God above for letting us cross paths. Dan will forever live in my heart. Will keep you all in my thoughts and prayers. Much love ❤️🙏🏻💯💐
