Daniel J. Carney, 83, of Mingo Junction, Ohio died Saturday, November 11, 2017 at Trinity West. He was born December 12, 1933 in New Kensington, PA, a son of the late Daniel J. & Ada Davis Carney. He was retired from Weirton Steel Co. Preceding Dan in death were his wife Mary Jane Slentz Carney; daughter-in-law Page L. Carney and brother Richard Carney.
Dan is survived by his son Danny P. Carney; daughter Catherine Richardson; grandchildren Tyler (fiancée Nicolette Devore) Carney, Hillary (Jordan) Yeater and Bruce (Abby) Palmer.
Private services were held at Dunlope-Shorac Funeral Home and burial followed at Island Creek Cemetery.
