Daniel A. Bommer, 69, of Wintersville, Ohio passed away on November 23, 2024 at Allegheny General Hospital in Pittsburgh, PA. Daniel was born on December 19, 1954 in Bellaire, Ohio a son of the late Theodore and Kathleen McSwords Bommer. He was a meat cutter at Kroger for over 39 years.
Daniel had a love for Harley-Davidson motorcycles. He was a member of the Hopedale American Legion Rider and Rifleman group and a Captain of the Dart league at the Moose Lodge 688.
Daniel is preceded in death by the love of his life, Diane “Diana” Bommer on November 22, 2022 and siblings Pam Asbury and Ted & Chris Bommer.
He is survived by his daughter Natalee D. (Daniel) Day; stepdaughter Heather O’Connor; sister Polly (Mark) Lutz and several beloved nieces, nephews and in-laws.
A Celebration of Life for Daniel will be held on Friday December 6, 2024 from 2 p.m. until the time of service at 3:30 p.m. with Pastor Bill Westling officiating at the Shorac Family Center, 166 Fernwood Road, Wintersville, Ohio 43953. The Hopedale American Legion will perform military honors.
