Obituary For Colleen S. Hennis Devore

Colleen S. Hennis Devore, 91, of Bloomingdale, Ohio passed away on Monday, September 12, 2022 at New Albany Care Center. She was born on April 17, 1931 in Hopedale, Ohio a daughter of the late Thomas & Maybelle Pinch Hennis. Colleen was a member of Mt. Moriah Baptist Church. Preceding Colleen in death were her husband Frederic B. “Bud” Devore on November 5, 1995; brothers Donovan, William, Harry & Charles Hennis and sister Arvilla Shaffer.

Colleen is survived by her son Frederic B. (Karen) Devore, Jr. of Asheville, North Carolina; daughter Victoria L. (Rick Grawemeyer) Devore of Powell, Ohio; granddaughters Danielle Devore, Colleen (Clay) Barcus & Helen (Patrick Conner) Devore; two great grandchildren Maybelle & Arlo Conner and many caring nieces and nephews.

Friends may call at Dunlope-Shorac Funeral Home, 215 Fernwood Road, Wintersville on Friday from 10:30 a.m. until the time of services at 12:30 p.m. Entombment at Fort Steuben.
