Clorinda M. “Cindy” Whitaker, 77, of Wintersville, Ohio died Tuesday, March 25, 2014 at Valley Haven Geriatric Center, Wellsburg, WV. She was born in Galion, Ohio on December 15, 1936 a daughter of the late Robert and Mae Holtshouse Brown. Cindy retired from Trinity West as a x-ray technician. She was preceded in death by her husband William J. “Bill” Whitaker on August 24, 2011 and sister Betsy Clippinger. Surviving are her daughter Jill (Jerry) Costello of Follansbee, WV and sister Jeanne Wilson of Ontario, OH. Friends may call at Dunlope-Shorac Funeral Home, 215 Fernwood Rd., Wintersville on Thursday from 11:30 a.m. until the time of service at 1:30 p.m. with Rev. Larry Garrison officiating.
