Clinton R. Cowher 30 of New Philadelphia, Ohio formerly of Wintersville died Saturday, January 22, 2005 at his residence. He was born on April 8, 1974 in Steubenville the son of Robert A. and Betty A. Kardos Cowher of Wintersville. Clinton was a member of Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, Wintersville he was also a former volunteer with the Wintersville Fire Department and was an avid hunter and fisherman. Clint was caring and compassionate of others. “Celebrate life and enjoy every moment you have”. He was employed as an C.A.T. Scan Technician at Aultman Hospital, Canton, Ohio. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents Julius and Mary A. Kardos, paternal grandmother Margaret J. Cowher, uncle Charles Cowher. Surviving are his parents, fiancée Amy Wetlich of New Philadelphia, Ohio, sister Julie A. Cowher of Columbus, Ohio, paternal grandfather William A. Cowher of Wintersville. Friends may call at Dunlope-Shorac Funeral Home, 215 Fernwood Road, Wintersville, Ohio on Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9p.m. Funeral liturgy with Mass will be Wednesday, 9:30a.m. at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, Wintersville with Msgr. Gerald Calovini officiating. Burial will be private. Vigil service Tuesday 3:45p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to American Cancer Society or Arthur G. James Cancer Center, Columbus, Ohio
