Clarence J. “Sonny” Bell 68 of Wintersville died Monday, December 6, 2004 at Allegheny General Hospital, Pittsburgh, PA. He was born in Jefferson County, Ohio on November 19, 1935 a son of the late William A. and Hazel Matthews Bell. He was Protestant by faith and a member of Mingo Sportsmans and Wintersville American Legion Post 557. Sonny had worked at Buckeye Steel and Boich Mining. He was a U.S. Army veteran. Preceded in death by brothers Sherman and Clair “Pete” Bell. He is survived by brothers Raymond “Buddy” Bell of Bloomingdale and William “Bo” Bell of Wintersville, sister Myrtle (Warren) Bell of Steubenville. Friends may call at Dunlope-Shorac Funeral Home, 215 Fernwood Rd., Wintersville on Wednesday from 6-8p.m. Funeral service on Thursday 10a.m. at Fort Steuben Burial Estates Chapel, Wintersville.
