Carol, my niece just emailed me about "Skeet." Please accept my sincere condolences. You were my official first employers, loved babysitting Kevin and Wendy. He will be deeply missed. That was such a long time ago, but I thought about you all last summer when I was back in Ohio. I even drove past your old house at the end of my lane. May you find peace in all the wonderful memories you have as family and friends to so many. My thoughts and prayers are with you at this darkest hour.

Saturday we laid to rest the greatest man I've ever known Clarence Whisman. To many he was a teacher, a coworker, a friend, a fishing partner, a father figure or like a grandfather. After meeting many of these people and hearing what a great man he was (which we already knew), it really made me proud of him - just like he was always proud of us. He raised us to go on even in these tough moments. I can already hear him saying, "Ok, now get back to work." I miss you already Dad and I realized this morning that it is going to be REALLY hard, but I promise I will continue to try my best. Just whisper in my ear what I need to hear every now and then please!
