My parents, Kenneth H. and Margaret (Peggy) Aldridge, have been lifelong friends with Tom and Claire. Both of my parents always had so many nice things to say about their friends--from the good times they shared, and the delicious meals Claire made for all of them when they would visit Steubenville. Dad passed away 12/26/07, and now Claire is gone, too. Memories are the one thing that will never fade, and those of us that are left behind will cherish those memories until we meet up with our loved ones again in heaven. The morning of Claire's passing, my mom had a wonderful dream that they were at Claire and Tom's home sharing stories, having some tea and pastry, and laughing. That is the way my mom will remember Claire. The little moments are always the most memorable, and they fill our lives with joy!

Mr. Kalinowski, Tony, Tommy, and family, I have font memories of Clara and all of you. One couldn't have asked for better neighbors on Teresa Drive. I will always remember her being calm but carrying a big stick. And bingo? I've never seen someone work as many "cards" at one time. She was a pro. They say that time heals all wounds. I'm not so sure it is true but rest assured that I will be thinking of you all and remembering you in my thoughts and prayers at this time. She lived a life full of love and happiness and I'm sure is proud of everything you've accomplished. It's unfortunate that we all can't live forever. I'm sure that she is resting in peace and in the hands of our Lord.
