Clara M. Hammond, 75, of Steubenville passed away Wednesday, September 2, 2009 at Trinity West. She was born in Steubenville on June 16, 1934 a daughter of the late Henry E. and Ronola Adams Babel. She is the 3rd of 17 children. Clara is survived by her children Joann M. Hammond and Robert J. Hammond, both of Steubenville; 7 sisters and 4 brothers. Friends may attend a memorial service at Shorac Funeral Home (formerly McClave’s), 611 N. 4th St., Steubenville on Sunday, September 6, 2009 at 2p.m.
