Clara K. Hartup, 98, of Toronto, Ohio passed away Saturday, August 23, 2008 at Gables Care Center, Hopedale, Ohio.  She was born July 21, 1910 in Grafton, WV a daughter of the late John A. and Mary L. Kernen McCracken.  Clara was a member of First Christian Church.  Preceding Clara in death were her husband Harry Hartup on June 18, 1984; daughter Joanne Loggie and two brothers Walter and Ralph McCracken.  Surviving are two grandchildren James D. (Yvonne) O’Brien of Toronto, OH and Joan M. (Mark) Richey of Houston, TX; two great grandchildren Erin and Josh Richey; sister-in-law Margaret McCracken of North Canton, OH; three nephews Kenneth (Susan) McCracken of Strasburg, OH, Keith McCracken of San Francisco, CA and Kim McCracken of North Canton; cousin Elinor Shiminski and special friends Patty Schnabel and Carol Schmidt.  Friends may call at Dunlope-Shorac Funeral Home, 215 Fernwood Road, Wintersville on Tuesday from 10 a.m. until the time of service at 11 a.m. with Rev. Jeff Proya officiating.  Burial at Fort Steuben.
