Clara C. Kimmel born July 2, 1919 in Cadiz Junction, Ohio, passed peacefully with her family by her side on August 28, 2013, in Tucson Arizona, where she lived for the last 3 years.She married Clarence C. Kimmel in 1946 and is survived by her husband; daughter Charlotte M. Kimmel ,PHD (Andy Griffin, PHD)of Mexia, Texas; son Philip W. (Luz), 4 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren. Clara was a member of Wintersville Baptist Temple. She was a Sunday School teacher, homemaker, a wonderful mother, and wife.She served in the army in WWII and was in London for D Day and Paris after liberation.She grew up in Cadiz Junction and loved to tell stories from there including being run over by a train at 6 years old.Friends may call at Wintersville Baptist Temple on Wednesday September 4, 2013 from 9:30am until time of services at 11am with Rev. Dr. John Beard officiating. Interment will follow at Ft Steuben Burial Estates.

Aunt Clara always had the sharpest wit, and sense of humor. She had such a unique way of putting things. I often think of her, and how she could find a bright spot in just about any situation. She will live on!
