Chuck “Sonny” Ingold, 68, of Wintersville, Ohio died Friday October 28, 2005 at Grant Medical Center in Columbus. He was born in Steubenville, OH on March 18, 1937 a son of the late Charles A. and Mildred P. Foster Ingold. Chuck was a member of Two Ridge Presbyterian Church and an Air Force Veteran. He retired from Signode Company in Weirton after 37 years and was employed by EOCC for five years. In addition to his parents Chuck was preceded in death by his sister Linda Deffenbugh. He is survived by his wife of 47 years Christina “Tina” Chopping Ingold; four sons Charles Ingold of Texas, David Ingold of Columbus, OH, Mark (Paula) Ingold of Columbus, OH and Steven Ingold of Texas; two grandchildren Dustin and Alex Ingold; two sisters Davine (Gene) Pool of Wintersville, OH and Marlene Harris of Missouri; two sisters-in-law Jennifer (Graham) Williamson and Wendy (Jim) Christie both of Braintree, Essex, UK; and several nieces and nephews. Friends may call at Dunlope-Shorac Funeral Home, 215 Fernwood Road, Wintersville on Monday 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. where services will be held 10 am Tuesday with Rev. Wendy Norris officiating. Burial at Fort Steuben. Ohio Valley Memorial Squad will conduct military honors at the cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to American Heart Association.
