Christopher J. Bottegal, 61, of Steubenville, Ohio passed away on Thursday, August 21, 2025 at Weirton Medical Center. He was born in Steubenville on October 12, 1963 and a graduate of CCHS. Chris was an Air Force veteran. He was retired from the City of Steubenville M & R Dept.
Chris was preceded in death by his father Joseph F. Bottegal and sister Angela Antonucci.
He is survived by his son Adam (Alexis) Bottegal; mother Anna Collins Bottegal; two grandchildren Rowan & Isabella; siblings Joseph (Stacy) Bottegal & Elizabeth Hardey; and stepchildren Ashley, Erica & Anthony.
Memorial mass 11 a.m., Monday, October 27, 2025 at Holy Rosary Church with Rev. Matthew Gossett officiating.
Burial at Mt. Calvary Cemetery.

So very sorry for entire family. Chris was always there for me when I needed him. He loved his plants, his animals, and his bike. I will always remember our little drives to McConnell's and our family talks. May he be with my dad now. They were great buddies.
