Obituary For Charles Wayne Allan

Charles Wayne Allan, 90, of Bloomingdale died Sunday, December 2, 2007 in Brooksville, Florida. He was born in Steubenville, Ohio on December 30, 1916 a son of the late Robert and Susan Guiselman Allan. C. Wayne was retired from Indian Creek School System as a custodian and also from the State of Ohio Highway System as an engineer. He served as a Wayne Township Trustee for 20 years. Preceded in death by his wife of 63 years, Helen Virginia Albaugh Allan, whom he married on January 10, 1939; daughters Ethel Elaine Lewis and Donna Rae Allan; 3 brothers and 5 sisters. He is survived by sons John W. Allan and Tomn Allan both of Bloomingdale, Ohio; daughters Judy Allan (Jack) Campbell of Brooksville, Florida and Susan Allan (Joe) Cummings of Streetsboro, Ohio; 10 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren; many nieces and nephews. Friends may call at Dunlope-Shorac Funeral Home, 215 Fernwood Road, Wintersville, Ohio today from 2-4 and 6-8 P.M. and on Friday from noon until time of services at 1P.M. in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Wendy Norris officiating. Burial at Fort Steuben.
