Condolences

  If I listed everything Dick and I did together I could write a book. There are very few people that one can consider a TRUE friend in life, but Dick was that kind of person to me. I first met him in 1974. We shared a townhouse from 77-81 and had some great times at 1777 ! I last talked to him last month and, although not in the best of health, he still had a few jokes and was his old chipper self. Even though I now live half a world away in New Zealand, I will really miss him.......I haven't felt this sad since my parents died. That's how much he meant to me. Karen, please accept my sincere condolences on your loss. As always, I will keep all of you in my prayers.

  Kayla, I'm so sorry to hear of your Grandpa passing. Everytime I go to my Grandma's house (Sue) he was looking out the door waving. you and your family are in my thoughts and prayers.

  I was so sorry to read about the loss of Mr. Blair, I usually had the pleasure of waiting on him at Krogers until I retired, since then if I saw him while I was shopping we got to say "hello" and talk. He was a very nice person and I'm sure he will be missed by family and friends

  Uncle Dick was the neatest uncle to have growing up. He was so much like my dad and when they got together you just didn't know what might happen. When my dad passed away he was so wonderful to my mom. Although I hadn't seen Uncle Dick in a few years, he was never far from my thoughts. I see so much of my dad and Uncle Dick in my second son that I know he will always be with me.

  The Familey Dick Blair-I probably was one of the first people to meet Dick when he came to Wintersville, having been Resident Manager at Provential Gardens, I knew and enjoyed Dick for many years What a Guy, Iloved him with his great humor . He will be missed by many as he was a person of Joy. Bless all dear to him. Helen Schaub
