Hester and Family, I am so sorry I neglected to convey my sympathy sooner, but as you know, we were going through the same experience. We were truly blessed as families: a heritage in the Salvation Army and Finley UM. God has been good, and Heaven is now a little sweeter. God bless all of you as you miss Charles (Dad). Aunt Hester and Family, We are so sorry to hear about Uncle Charles. We know he is now in a much better place. Dad will take good care of him. Our thoughts and prayers are with you,Carol, Skip, Roger and Keith. I had always treasured the time we had got to spend with you and Uncle Charles when we were back home. I'm so glad I got to see you and Uncle Charles at Mom's 90th birthday. I would have like to seen you the last time we were home, but I didn't make the time. Trying to get things settled with Mom. Eddie did tell me that the last time they were in to see Uncle Charles, he was sleeping and they didn't know if he knew they were there. I would much rather remember him without a bunch of tube and lines. Just a jolly uncle. I will always remember him that way. We will all sure miss him. We will be back home in June and I WILL make the time to come see you. Love always Delbert, Janet and Family
