Charles R. Lake, 77, of Wintersville, Ohio died Friday, January 28, 2011 at Sienna Woods. He was born January 4, 1934 in Clarksburg, WV the son of the late Paul & Tressia Freeze Lake. He was a retired roll grinder at Weirton Steel Co. Tin Mill and served in the US Air Force during the Korean War. He was a member of Loyal Order of Moose Lodge 619 and American Legion Argonne Post 33. Preceding Charles in death were his wife Margaret D. Bussell Lake; and two sisters Alice Jean Waggoner & Daisy L. DeLawder.Surviving are six nephews Jeff, Fred & Charles DeLawder, Ronald, Jack & Bob Waggoner; and three nieces Debra Ferrise, Jean Ann & Charlene DeLawder.Friends may call at Dunlope-Shorac Funeral Home, 215 Fernwood Road, Wintersville on Sunday 1-4 p.m. where services will be held at 10 a.m. Monday. Burial at Union Cemetery.
