Charles Alan Flinn 93 of Bloomingdale, Ohio died Wednesday, November 19, 2003 at Harrison Community Hospital, Cadiz, Ohio. He was born in Steubenville, Ohio on January 4, 1910 a son of the late William L. and Carrie P. George Flinn. Alan was a retired painter for Union Local 438 and served in US Army during WWII. He was preceded in death by his wife Merle V. Wenzel Flinn on March 26, 1993; four brothers and two sisters. Surviving are one sister Jeannette McKee of Ravenna, Ohio; two sisters-in-law Luella Flinn of Carrollton, Ohio and Dorothy Flinn of Warren, Michigan and several nieces and nephews. Friends may call at Dunlope-Shorac Funeral Home, 215 Fernwood Road, Wintersville on Saturday from 11 a.m. until time of services at 1 p.m. with Rev. P. Douglas George officiating. Burial at Cross Creek Cemetery, Wintersville.
