Catherine Rose “Katy” Sells 72 of Wintersville, Ohio went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, August 12, 2004. She passed at Weirton Medical Center. She was born in Pittsburgh, PA on February 15, 1932 a daughter of the late Frank and Rose Pylie Butta. She was a member of Colonial Baptist Church and American Legion #557 Women’s Auxiliary both in Wintersville. Katy was dearly loved by her husband, children and grandchildren and they include her husband Dean Lyle Sells; son Rev. Randy (Debra) Sells of Wintersville; daughters Deborah (Rev. Jeffrey) Bailie of Cranberry Twp., PA and Jayna (Rev. Leonard) Peeler of New Cumberland, WV; brother Enrico Butta of Las Vegas, NV; sisters Josephine Potenzini and Constance Mosko both of Mingo Junction, Isabel McCullough of Steubenville and Alvina Saunders of Mingo Junction; grandchildren Natalie Collier, Adam Bailie, Matthew, Andrew and Daniel Sells, Chad, Benjamin and Courtney Peeler; great grandson Titus Collier; numerous nieces and nephews. Friends may call at Dunlope-Shorac Funeral Home, 215 Fernwood Road, Wintersville on Monday from 3-8 p.m. Friends may also call on Tuesday from 10 a.m. until time of services at 11a.m. at Colonial Baptist Church with Rev. Randy Sells, Rev. Leonard Peeler, Rev. Jeffrey Bailie and Rev. Adam Bailie (grandson of Catherine) officiating. Burial at Fort Steuben Burial Estates, Wintersville Memorial contributions may be made to the church.
