Catherine I. Dimitro, 101 of Glen Dale, WV, went to be with her Lord and Saviour on Tuesday, November 16, 2010 at Belmont Manor. She was born August 8, 1909 in Smock, PA, the oldest of 12 children, to the late John & Julia Kalya Koltush. She was a member of St. Jude Catholic Church. Preceding Catherine in death were her husband of 50 years Dimos (Jimmy) Dimitro; son Donald Andrew Dimitro; granddaughter Nicole Lee Smith; several brothers and sisters.She is survived by her children Patricia (Dino) Vallera of Steubenville, Helen (Freddy) Tyler of Glen Dale & Cathy Durden of Ocklawaha, FL; six grandchildren Andrew Dimitro, James Dimitro, Christina (Steve) Troy, Renee Vallera, Paul Vallera & Christopher (Hope) Tyler; five great grandchildren; and sisters Margaret Butcher & Mary Poole. Friends may call at Dunlope-Shorac Funeral Home, 215 Fernwood Road, Wintersville, on Saturday from 9:30 - 10:15 a.m. Funeral liturgy with mass 10:30 a.m. at Blessed Sacrament Church with Msgr. Kurt Kemo officiating. Burial at Mt. Calvary Cemetery, Steubenville.
