Carol L. Yost, 69, of Steubenville, OH passed away Wednesday, April 7, 2016 at U.P.M.C. Presbyterian. She was born in St. Petersburg, FL on December 16, 1946 a daughter of the late Joseph and Margaret Miller Moody. She was a 1964 graduate of Steubenville High School and the Steubenville School of Cosmetology. Carol was a member of St. Stephens Episcopal Church, Jefferson County Humane Society and the Steubenville YWCA. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her sisters Kathleen Moody, Jeanne Robbins and Mary Jo (Bill) Giles and an infant son. Carol is survived by her husband Peter A. Yost whom she married June 18, 1966; daughter Emily, at home; brother Darrell Moody of Latrobe, PA; nieces Connie Robbins (Raymond) Lash, who was raised with her of Deltona, FL, Lynn Kaminski of Wheeling and Dawn Bullock of Aberdeen, MD; nephews William Giles of Baltimore, MD and Bryan Giles of Warwood, WV. No services per the family’s request. Memorial contributions may be directed to Big Red Band Parents or Jefferson County Humane Society.
