Obituary For Carol L. Woodland

Carol L. Woodland, 81, of Wintersville, OH passed away on December 25, 2022 in Columbus, OH. She was born in Brilliant, OH on August 20, 1941 a daughter of the late Raymond and Daisy Horner Hightland. She was a member of Wintersville Carol Baptist Temple. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Hubert C. “Woody” Woodland; sons Charles C. and Hubert “Boo” Woodland; sisters Lyda Mae Singleton and Louise Osz.

Carol is survived by her children Rosella (Frank) King of Olympia, WA, Georgia Woodland and Raymond (Cora Lee) Woodland, both of Columbus, OH; sisters Donna Kiaski, Debbie (Donald) Monigold, Monica (Richard) Althar and Wanetti Taylor; brother Danny Weaver; 5 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren.

Friends may call at Dunlope-Shorac Funeral Home, 215 Fernwood Road, Wintersville on Tuesday, January 3, 2023, from 10 a.m. until the time of services at 11 a.m. with Rev. Troy Thacker officiating. Burial at Cross Creek Cemetery.

    To my family I will miss my big sister so much and my thoughts are prayers with Rosy Raymond and Georgia. Yes my heart is breaking for all of us even all of her family. My heart breaks but I know she is with her family in heaven and is not in anymore pain. Love and miss you my sister Carol. RIP

    I helped took care of Carol for the past 5 1/2 months she was an amazing lady and I was so blessed to meet her.. Carol you are very much missed. Fly high baby girl!
