Our beloved Carol Faye Daily, 95, of Wintersville, Ohio, peacefully met our Savior on June 15, 2025. She was born on February 3, 1930 to the late Floyd and Lillian (Peterson) Scott.
She is preceded in death by the love of her life, her husband, Jack A. Daily; sisters and brothers-in-law, Marge and Don O’Leary and A. Birney and Roy Wells; sister, Shirley Scott, brothers-in-law, Bill Davis and Dave Daily; granddaughter, Chasity Randalson.
Carol spent her entire life generously caring for others. She never worked out of the home, but rather dedicated her hard-work and time to her family. She kept a spotless home, raised 3 wonderful children bestowing morals and values onto them, and supported her husband’s passion for farming. Preparing and preserving the finest tasting meals and desserts with the fruits, vegetables, and meats from their farm. Selflessly, she loved sharing all of her homemaking knowledge and secrets with her family for future generations to enjoy.
Being a supportive and attentive parent and grandparent was priority to her. Rarely, was there any event or gathering in which her children, grandchildren, and great- grandchildren were involved in, that she was not in attendance supporting. Sporting events of her family members were very treasured. When given the opportunity, she invested every minute she had spending time and playing games with her family.
Presbyterian by Faith, Carol was a devoted member of Starkdale Presbyterian Church for numerous years. Her fabulous baking skills were always very much appreciated by the Presbyterian women’s events in Fellowship Hall.
Nothing in life brought a bigger warmth to Carol’s kind heart than spending quality time with others. She thoroughly enjoyed conversations and visits. She could spend endless hours sharing stories and making memories with her family and friends.
Left behind to cherish her memory are her children, Bobby (Linda) Daily, Linda (Bob) Corder, and Karen (Steve) Orwick; grandchildren, Tad (Monica Connors) Daily, Tricia (Scott) Binkiewicz, Tammy (Heath) Starr, Lisa (Zak) Richmond, Josh (Amie) Orwick, and Haley (Jeff) Kreider; great-grandchildren, Allie, Molly, Logan, Sydney, Addyson, Olivia, Bryce, Jozee, Grayson, Layna, Amy, and Harlow; sister, June Davis; sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Carol (Rich) Edgerly, Pat Daily, Jim (Mary) Daily, George Daily; and many nieces and nephews.
Friends can visit on Saturday, June 28th, 2025 from 11:00 a.m. until the time of the service at 2:00 p.m. at Shorac Funeral Home in Wintersville, Ohio, where Rev. Dr. Carl Moore will be officiating.
Carol will be remembered for her kind heart and gentle ways. She leaves behind a legacy of strong family commitment and hard-working values. Her memory will be cherished for eternity by all who knew and loved her.
In memory of Carol, donations can be made to Starkdale Presbyterian Church.
