Carol E. Kennedy, 69, of Steubenville, Ohio, died Tuesday, July 19, 2016 at Trinity West ER. She was born in Wheeling, West Virginia on May 21, 1947 the daughter of the late Robert G. and Ruth Mae Hainsworth Maple. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her first husband Thomas Richard Couch and a brother Robert “Bobby” Maple.
Carol attended the former United Brethren in Christ and was a graduate of East Springfield High School. She worked for the Village of Wintersville as a clerk for over 29 years.
She is survived by her husband John Kennedy at home, daughter Tracy (Jim) Wright of Steubenville, son John F. (Cassandra) Kennedy II of Reynoldsburg; three grandchildren Christopher (Mary) Wright and Kayla Wright both of Steubenville and Carson Kennedy of Columbus, Ohio; brothers Earl (Elaine) of Richmond and Ray (Jeannie) Maple of Wisconsin.
Friends may call at the Dunlope-Shorac Funeral Home, 215 Fernwood Road, Wintersville on Sunday from 1:30 p.m. until the time of service at 3:30 p.m. with Pastor Jerry Ernst officiating. Burial Fort Steuben.
